The categories of expository, biomorphic, representational, sympathetic, ambiguous, and antithetical are individually expressed in the form of an event poster; in this case, an international strawberry tasting festival. To bring the designs to the next level, combinations of 2 categories are created in the form of hybrid posters, and super hybrid with a combination of 3 categories. This project brings out the love for type-manipulation in me and allows me to experiment with effects and layers of design. Not to mention the super hybrid went through so many changes; I hit so many walls. To get out of the circle of ‘what should I add/remove’, I scratched everything and started fresh from ground 0. The final result somewhat represents what my headspace looks like most days: chaotic and filled with different things, but my burning passion is yet to be put away anytime soon.
